The AS53L is a left-handed, hollow-body thinline archtop electric guitar from Ibanez' Artcore series. This attractively-priced semi-acoustic model has a lovely Tobacco matte finish with a cream white binding. It's equipped with potentiometers for volume and tone and there's a 3-way pickup switch too so that you can find just the sound you're looking for.

Apart from being a left-handed model, this version is exactly the same as the standard AS53. That means it has an AS-style neck profile with 22 medium frets and a 24.7-inch scale length for a familiar feel. Acoustically, the AS53L offers the perfect mix of warmth and brightness which is delivered to your amplifier by two Infinity R humbuckers for a sound that is full and well-balanced. Ibanez is well known for producing well-constructed solid hollow-body guitars so it should come as no surprise that this model has excellent sustain without suffering much from feedback.
